The jackets' windproof and water-resistant stretch-woven outer shell is bonded to variable loft (R2m high pile and Rim medium grid) insulation, to maximize core warmth without sacrificing mobility. The weight - as a single piece - is half that of a conventional combo of hard shell with separate fleece insulation. Highly compressible and breathable, these jackets also feature a lined Optipull hood, ventilating torso pockets, wrist-protecting Centaur Cuffs, and a removable between-the-Iegs strap to hold the jacket in place. A trim, but not restrictive, fit allows for underlayers. @ Women's jacket has a feminine cut. Imported.
